With fresh gear and recharged batteries, the South American expedition resumes. The next major chapter takes me through the dramatic, contrasting landscapes of Southern Peru before crossing the border into Bolivia. From desert coasts with the Nazca Lines into the Andes with a visit to Arequipa leading to Lake Titica before entering the Bolivian Altiplano.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bolivia \u2013 Wild and Remote<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Crossing the border into Bolivia means stepping onto the Altiplano\u2014the high-altitude heart of the Andes. This chapter promises to be one of the most visually surreal and physically demanding stretches of the entire expedition, balancing intense urban energy in La Paz with absolute natural isolation in the Salar de Uyuni.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Chile \u2013 From Desert to Glaciers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
