Pedaling Through the Andes and Beyond.
Join me as I cycle through the diverse landscapes of South America, from towering mountains to lush jungles to sandy beaches, sharing the journey every mile of the way.

The name: Spokes and Shoes Sagas
The name Spokes and Shoes Sagas reflects the dual spirit of this adventure: the ‘spokes’ representing the wheels that will carry me across borders, and the ‘shoes’ symbolizing the footsteps that will bring me closer to South America’s heart. Together, they weave a saga of endurance, discovery, and the stories shared along the way.

Southern Peru
With fresh gear and recharged batteries, the South American expedition resumes. The next major chapter takes me through the dramatic, contrasting landscapes of Southern Peru before crossing the border into Bolivia. From desert coasts with the Nazca Lines into the Andes with a visit to Arequipa leading to Lake Titica before entering the Bolivian Altiplano.

Bolivia – Wild and Remote
Crossing the border into Bolivia means stepping onto the Altiplano—the high-altitude heart of the Andes. This chapter promises to be one of the most visually surreal and physically demanding stretches of the entire expedition, balancing intense urban energy in La Paz with absolute natural isolation in the Salar de Uyuni.

Chile – From Desert to Glaciers
Depending on the route, I may ride through northern deserts or join the Carretera Austral in the south—a legendary cycling road winding through forests, fjords, and glacier-fed rivers.
January – February 2027
Argentina – The Final Stretch
Entering southern Argentina, I’ll continue through Patagonia. The road may be windy and tough, but the scenery will be worth it. The final destination: Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.
The Heart of The Journey
This journey isn’t just about cycling across countries—it’s about connecting with new cultures, pushing my personal boundaries, and sharing the lessons learned along the way. I’m embarking on this adventure to test both my physical and mental limits, while exploring the beauty of our world and the people who call it home.

Along the way, I’ll be documenting the experiences, challenges, and milestones, offering insights into the power of perseverance, adaptability, and the importance of embracing the unknown. The purpose of this journey goes beyond personal growth; it’s about inspiring others to step out of their comfort zones and pursue their own dreams.
